Brick kiln workers are among the most vulnerable and exploited groups in Pakistan. They often endure grueling working conditions, meager wages, and lack access to basic rights such as education and healthcare. Many of them live in poverty and are trapped in a cycle of debt bondage, unable to break free from the exploitative practices of brick kiln owners.

Recognizing the dire situation facing brick kiln workers, Independent Church has launched a multifaceted initiative to empower these individuals and improve their quality of life. Here are some key components of our initiative:

Through legal advocacy and support, we strive to secure the release of individuals who are unjustly held in bondage and to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.

In addition to fighting for their freedom, we also provide immediate assistance to brick kiln workers and their families to address their basic needs. This includes providing clothing, groceries, and other essential items to alleviate their suffering and improve their quality of life. By meeting their immediate needs, we aim to provide a measure of relief and support to those who are struggling to survive in challenging circumstances.
